A Sacred Journey a road trip from India to Nepal
An enriching pilgrimage with our “Sacred Serenity Tour,” where spirituality unfolds across revered destinations in India and Nepal. This soulful journey takes you through the divine realms of Dharamshala, Amritsar, Vrindavan, Mathura, Ayodhya, Varanasi, Bodh Gaya, Lumbini, and culminates at the sacred Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu. Immerse yourself in the spiritual essence of each location, from the tranquil Himalayan foothills to the ancient ghats along the Ganges and the sacred birthplaces of Lord Ram, Krishna and Buddha.

Day 0: Pickup from Delhi Airport 

 

Day 1-3: Delhi-Dharamshala - The Abode of Peace

Day 01: Travel from Delhi to Dharamshala, settle in, and visit the Dalai Lama Temple.

Day 02: Explore McLeod Ganj, Bhagsu Nag Temple, and immerse yourself in the serenity of the Himalayas.

Day 03: Engage in a meditation session and visit Norbulingka Monastery.

Later take bus to Amritsar 

 

Day 4-5: Amritsar - The Spiritual Hub

Day 04: Journey to Amritsar, visit the Golden Temple, and witness the Wagah Border ceremony.

Day 05: Discover Jallianwala Bagh, Durgiana Temple, and savor the spiritual ambiance.

 

Day 6-8: Vrindavan and Mathura - Land of Lord Krishna

Day 06: Head to Vrindavan, visit Banke Bihari Temple, and soak in the vibrant culture.

Day 07: Explore Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna, and visit the sacred Yamuna Ghats.

Day 08: Continue exploring Vrindavan's temples and partake in the evening aarti.

 

Day 9-11: Ayodhya - The City of Lord Rama

Day 09: Travel to Ayodhya, visit Ram Janmabhoomi, and explore other significant sites.

Day 10: Participate in a Ganga Aarti by the Sarayu River and experience spiritual tranquility.

Day 11: Visit other holy shrines in Ayodhya and head to Bodh Gaya.

 

Day 12-13: Bodh Gaya

Day 12: Engage in meditation in Bodh Gaya, explore local monasteries, and embrace the spiritual ambiance.

Day 13: Visit Sujata Kuti and proceed to Varanasi.

 

Day 14-15: Varanasi - The Spiritual Heart of India

Day 14: Explore Varanasi's ghats, visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple, and enjoy a boat ride on the Ganges.

Day 15: Witness the sunrise Aarti, explore Sarnath, and absorb the city's spiritual energy.

Day 16: Conclude the Indian leg with a final exploration of Varanasi before heading to Lumbini, Nepal.

 

Day 17-18: Lumbini-Kathmandu (Nepal)

Day 17: Arrive in Lumbini and relax.

Day 18: Visit the birthplace of Buddha, including the Maya Devi Temple, then travel to Kathmandu.

 

Day 19-20: Kathmandu (Nepal) - Buddhist Heritage

Day 19: Arrive in Kathmandu. Explore Pashupatinath Temple and prepare for the Buddhist leg.

Day 20: Final day in Kathmandu; Departure.

      Our program does not cover liability or provide insurance against injury, loss of life, accidents, or loss of goods. Participants must have appropriate insurance before joining.

Personal Expenses:

      Expenses such as table drinks, room service items, laundry, phone calls, tips, portage at hotels or airports and bottled water during your road trip are not included.

Additional Expenses:

      Any extra expenses caused by circumstances, weather conditions, sickness, natural disasters, riots, etc., are not covered.

You should book your flight to Delhi so that you land the day before the trip starts (so you will land on Sunday). Note that the journey ends in Kathmandu, which is in Nepal. The staff on site will be happy to help you book a flight ticket from Kathmandu to New Delhi, or your next destination.
