This 4 weeks India road trip spans 28 days, allowing you to explore 7 distinct states in India. From the vibrant culture, breathtaking monuments, and stunning nature to delectable cuisine, the journey traverses a cross-section of the vast sub-continent.
Week 1
Day 01 (Sunday): Arrival at Delhi Airport. Check-in and overnight stay in New Delhi.
Day 02 (Monday): Morning bus to Rishikesh, check-into hotel. orientation session and later Experience the mesmerising Ganga Aarti ceremony at Parmarth Niketan Ashram.
Day 03 (Tuesday): Start your day with a rejuvenating yoga session. Rishikesh is known as the Yoga Capital of the World, and many centers offer classes for all levels. Explore the Beatles Ashram, also known as Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ashram, famous for its association with The Beatles. Visit Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, a sacred shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, nestled amidst the mountains. Take an overnight bus to Shimla.
Day 04 (Wednesday): Check-in the hotel, local Shimla sightseeing. Heritage walk in Shimla.
Day 05 (Thursday): First day of trekking to a Himalayan village for an overnight stay with a local family.
Day 06 (Friday): Second day of hiking from the village to a Himalayan mountain with picturesque views. Return to Shimla for an overnight stay.
Day 07 (Saturday): Visit the "Hanuman Temple" and explore the city in the morning. Travel to Dharamshala by day bus.
Day 08 (Sunday): Explore Dharamshala, visit McLeod Ganj, Dalai Lama Temple and experience Tibetan culture.
Week 2
Day 09 (Monday): Dharamshala sightseeing Visit Norbulingka Monastery in Dharamsala. Take a taxi to Amritsar, (Optional) visit to experience the electrifying atmosphere at the Wagah Border, shopping and explore Amritsari evening streets, overnight stay in Amritsar.
Day 10 (Tuesday): Experience the sacred serenity of the Golden Temple, a spiritual and architectural marvel that stands as a symbol of Sikhism,visit to Jallianwala Bagh,Indulge in Amritsari local street food and traditional Punjabi dishes, later overnight bus to Delhi.
Day 11 (Wednesday): Explore Delhi's landmarks - Lotus Temple, Gandhi Museum, Red Fort. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 12 (Thursday): Early morning train to Agra. Visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Overnight train to Udaipur.
Day 13 (Friday): Experience Udaipur - "City of Lakes." Visit the palace, enjoy a boat ride, and witness a traditional Rajasthani dance.
Day 14 (Saturday): Temple tour in the morning. Overnight bus to Jaisalmer.
Day 15 (Sunday): Camping in the desert. Explore Jaisalmer's fort and take a jeep safari and camel ride.
Week 3
Day 16 (Monday): Return from the dessert. Visit a beautiful Haveli and take an overnight bus back to Udaipur.
Day 17 (Tuesday): Free time and Visit Badi Lake later in the evening for Sunset, overnight stay in the Hotel.
Day 18 (Wednesday): Visit Self Defense class school in the morning, catch an overnight bus to Mumbai.
Day 19 (Thursday): Explore Mumbai - Gateway of India, Jahangir art gallery, Haji Ali Dargah, Sunset at Marine Drive, Overnight stay in Mumbai.
Day 20 (Friday): After breakfast catch a ferry to Elephanta Island and have a guided tour of the caves. Catch overnight bus to Goa.
Day 21 (Saturday): Relax in the morning and later go for sunset on the beach.
Day 22 (Sunday: Explore Old Goa's history and architecture, Visit Panjim (New Goa), Catch an overnight bus to Hampi.
Week 4
Day 23 (Monday): Check-in and then guided tour of the Vijaynagar empire, go for sunset, overnight stay in Hampi.
Day 24 (Tuesday): Free time to explore Hampi. Bus back to Goa.
Days 25 (Wednesday): Authentic ayurvedic massage. Relax at a beautiful beach in Goa.
Days 26 (Thursday): Visit to spice plantation and a waterfall.
Day 27 (Friday): Free time
Day 28 (Saturday): Departure from MAPA or Dabolim Airport in Goa.

Our program does not cover liability or provide insurance against injury, loss of life, accidents, or loss of goods. Participants must have appropriate insurance before joining.

Expenses such as table drinks, room service items, laundry, phone calls, tips, portage at hotels or airports and bottled water during your road trip are not included.
❌ Additional Expenses:
Any extra expenses caused by circumstances, weather conditions, sickness, natural disasters, riots, etc., are not covered.
❌ Camera Fees:
Any camera fees applicable at specific locations are not included.
❌ Unspecified Services:
Any service not explicitly specified above is excluded from the program.
You should book your flight to Delhi so that you land the day before the trip starts (so you will land on Sunday). Note that the journey ends in Goa, which is almost 200 miles from New Delhi. The staff on site will be happy to help you book a flight ticket from Goa to New Delhi, or a train ticket. Travelling by train takes about 30 hours and can be an interesting experience! Another option is to book the return journey directly from Goa to your next destination. We will be happy to help you find the best tickets!
